Explore Learning centres cater to children aged 5-14 who attend regularly in order to improve their maths and literacy skills, as well as build confidence and develop a love of learning.
Coming to Explore just once or twice a week will help children practice all the skills they have been working to master in school and prepare them for the new term ahead. The centres cater for children of all abilities whether they are finding areas tricky and need to revisit concepts, or excelling in school and need to be stretched and engaged.
The centres are designed to offer maximum convenience to parents and children. They are open 7 days a week, all year round, and sessions can be taken anytime during our open hours without booking, offering complete flexibility. Membership allows children to visit for two sessions each week, to work on activities tailored to their individual ability. All of the work is mapped to the National Curriculum, so whether your child needs a bit of a boost in their schoolwork, or would love an extra challenge, Explore can create a course that is perfect for them!
Children are taught in a low ratio by fantastic tutors who inspire and encourage all of the children in a fun and relaxed environment. Explore helps children make fantastic academic progress, whilst the vibrant atmosphere keeps them engaged and focused enabling them to have fun while they learn.
As well as the basic Numeracy and Literacy Curriculum, Explore learning also offers additional courses that focus on specific areas of learning;
Their 11+ course is designed to support and tutor children in Year 5 preparing for their secondary school entrance exams.
The Explore Writing course focuses on helping children extend their basic literacy skills whilst drawing on their own imaginative skills to learn the principles of fiction and non-fiction writing.
Succeed in Secondary
Succeed in Secondary is designed for children in Year 6 and up and focuses on supporting children through the sometimes tricky transition between Primary and Secondary School.
