About ANIL UZUN Anıl Uzun is a guitarist from Turkey. He was born in 1982. He lived in Manisa until he was big enough to go to high school. He moved to İstanbul alongside his family and started his high school education in Yesilkoy High School. He spent his summer holidays in Manisa during that time. Anıl Uzun has been playing musical instruments since he was a little kid. He started his professional music career in high school. Anıl Uzun also played guitar in the school orchestra. But before that, his Grandfather bought his first guitar as a birthday present for him, back in Manisa. There, he started playing music in his grandfather's home with his childhood friends. In high school, Anıl Uzun formed a rock band with his fellow friends. He made performances in school concerts and youth festivals.

Anıl Uzun started to perform with more than one musical group during high school. Besides, he began to perform in the school orchestra. Anıl Uzun traveled around Turkey with the school orchestra to perform. The orchestra had a vast repertoire, including rock, jazz, and classical music. He made covers with many music bands and recorded a cover album with his school band that was never published.

After high school, Anıl Uzun moved to Ankara to study at the university. He started his education at Hacettepe University in geological engineering. Three years later, he would quit studying engineering and get back to Istanbul to study musicology. In Ankara, he also went on playing with different groups and perform at bars and clubs. Anıl Uzun also performed in University festivals. During university, he also went to the studio for recordings with many different artists. As a result, Anıl Uzun decided to take a new path in his musical career. He wanted to be a professional musician, and to do that, he moved back to Istanbul and started his education at Istanbul Technical University on musicology.

In Istanbul, Anıl Uzun continued his education in Musicology and traveled to Europe a lot. He performed with many local and international groups in Berlin and many other European cities. He played guitar with many groups for their albums. Anıl Uzun became professional in guitar, fretless guitar, and electronic guitar. He exclusively studied with esteemed guitar masters in Turkey and Europe. He worked as a music arranger and producer, also, Anıl Uzun played guitar for music records. He also majored in music production and media music. We did his military service in 2009. When Anıl Uzun returned to Istanbul, he started to perform regularly in different venues. He also worked in the organization companies responsible for a lot of music festivals in Turkey and Europe.

Anıl Uzun got married in 2013 and soon became a father. He still lives in Istanbul with his family and travels to Europe regularly. Today, Anıl Uzun is a guitarist, works as an independent musical arranger, event organizer, and a producer. He continues to cherish his music and tries to give a legacy to his beloved daughter.
