Our Aims We invest a huge amount of time ensuring that new students have a smooth transition from primary to secondary school. Once your daughter has secured a place with us, we visit their primary school to find out as much information as possible to ensure we know them well and they settle quickly into the Brentford way. You will be invited to an 'Information Evening' in March 2013 and then your daughter will come to a 'Transition Morning' one Saturday in June. Your daughter will take part in lessons, get a real feel of the school, meet teachers and start to make new friends. In September, when your daughter enters Year 7, she will have a full 'Induction Day' in which she will be placed in one of our House groups, meet her House Leader and Form Tutor.

It is vital that the transition programme is right for every child who joins Brentford School for Girls. Be assured that our commitment to provide a transition programme will make, what can be a nervous time, into one of excitement.
